Why should I update my profile?
You should update your profile to ensure that your information is kept current and accurate. This is aimed to ensure a seamless user experience and avoid any potential issues or limitations that may arise from having outdated profile information.

Why do I receive this message when I try to register for BIMB Web? “Thank you for your interest in Internet Banking. We are sorry to inform that your Internet Banking registration can only be done by a branch. Kindly visit the nearest branch to proceed”.
In order to protect the safety and security of our customers, we have imposed an additional control by allowing these customers to register for Internet Banking ONLY after visiting any Bank Islam branch. For further action, please visit any of our branch for ID verification to enable Internet Banking registration.

Who is required to perform activation for online access?

Activation is required for:

  1. New users who have recently registered for BIMB Web.
  2. Existing customers of BIMB Web who are new users of the BIMB Mobile app.

Note: Existing users who are already using these services are not required to perform activation.

What is online access activation?
Online access activation is a security measure implemented to ensure that only authorized users can access their banking transactions through BIMB Web and BIMB Mobile. It adds an extra layer of protection to safeguard your financial information.
How do I activate my online access?

You need to complete the required steps for first-time setup for Internet Banking or GO by Bank Islam before you can activate your online access.

You can activate your online access through any of these three options:

Go to any Bank Islam ATM/CRM:

  1. Insert your debit or credit card into the ATM/CRM.
  2. Enter your 6-digit PIN to access the main menu.
  3. Select ‘Others’.
  4. Select ‘Online Access Activation’.
  5. Complete the activation process.

Visit any Bank Islam branch:

  1. Fill out and submit the Activation Request Form.
  2. The branch will process your activation request.

Kill Switch
Once Kill Switch is deactivated, can I still log in to my existing BIMB web?
No, your existing BIMB Web can no longer be used as one of the security measures. Kindly proceed to re-register for Internet Banking using the newly issued Debit Card-i number.
I received an SMS notifying that my Kill Switch has been activated but I did not perform this action. What should I do?
For immediate assistance, please contact our Bank Islam Contact Centre at 03-2690 0900. Alternatively, you have the option to visit any Bank Islam branch for further support.
Can I perform cash withdrawal from ATMs using my Debit Card-i after initiating Kill Switch?
You will not be able to perform cash withdrawal using your Debit Card-i after you have initiated Kill Switch.
How do I deactivate Kill Switch?
To deactivate Kill Switch, you must visit any Bank Islam branch. We will verify your profile and take necessary actions to uplift the Kill Switch status on your account. Your existing Debit Card-i can no longer be used hence a new card is required.
I suspect that I have been scammed. What should I do?
If you notice any suspicious/unauthorised transactions or suspect that you’ve fallen victim to an online scam, you should immediately use the Kill Switch to protect the funds in your account. Then, immediately call Bank Islam Contact Centre at 03-26900900 or the National Scam Response Centre at 997 (8:00am to 8:00pm daily) to make a report.
What will happen to my account if I do not deactivate Kill Switch?
The account will remain blocked. We assure you that your money will remain secure in your bank account. To ensure smooth transaction and payment processes, we strongly advise you to visit the nearest branch to request deactivation of the Kill Switch feature.
What is Kill Switch?
Kill Switch is a feature that can be activated if you have been scammed or suspected that you have fallen victim to an online scam. It is a self-service security feature to block all access to BIMB Web, BIMB Mobile, BIMB Biz app, accounts, and debit cards. Once the Kill Switch is activated, your accounts and access to BIMB Web, BIMB Mobile and BIMB Biz app will be blocked, and debit cards will be terminated immediately. No transactions can be performed, whether digitally, through ATM, or at branch. Recurring or scheduled fund transfers will also be suspended.
If I have activated the Kill Switch, would it cancel my scheduled payments and online transactions?
Yes, if you have activated the Kill Switch, it will cancel your scheduled payments and online transactions.
I accidentally activated the Kill Switch, what should I do?
To deactivate Kill Switch, kindly visit any Bank Islam branch.
What is the benefit of performing Kill Switch?
You can protect your funds immediately and prevent further unauthorised transactions if you suspect that you have been scammed as online scammers will no longer have access to your accounts. This will enhance your online banking security as reactivation will require a verification process to be undertaken at Bank Islam branch.
Where can I find Kill Switch and how to activate it?
Here are the steps to find and activate the Kill Switch feature. BIMB Web i) Log into BIMB Web (https://www.bankislam.biz) ii) Next to the User Guide, click on " Kill Switch" at the top of the menu. iii) Click on “Start Kill Switch”. iv) Select ID Type and provide ID Number. v) Verify your Kill Switch request by entering the One-Time Password (OTP) code. vi) Kill Switch request is considered successful when you receive an SMS notification and acknowledgement is displayed on screen. BIMB Secure is an authentication method to authorise transactions initiated from BIMB Web and BIMB Mobile.
How should I authorise the transaction that I have performed through BIMB Web via BIMB Mobile?

Perform the following steps for BIMB Secure:

  1. Launch BIMB Mobile.
  2. Select Quick Menu.
  3. Select BIMB Secure.
  4. Verify the transaction details.
  5. Once verified, select ‘Confirm’.
  6. Enter the six (6) digits of random number displayed on your mobile device screen.
  7. Authorization process is completed.
Do I need to register for BIMB Secure?

What document do I need to bring if I want to register or maintain my DuitNow ID?
It depends on the type of ID you used to register your account with Bank Islam. You are required to bring the supporting document that matches the DuitNow ID you wish to create/maintain. Please refer to list of allowable DuitNow ID in Question 2 (General) of this FAQ.
I have recently changed my mobile number, but my previous mobile number was my DuitNow ID. What should I do?

You need to deregister your DuitNow ID and go to a Bank Islam branch to update your mobile number. Only mobile numbers that match Bank Islam’s records are allowed to be registered as DuitNow ID for mobile numbers.

After the branch has updated your mobile number, you can re-register your new mobile number as your DuitNow ID at the following channels:

  1. BIMB Web
  2. Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

Can I tag the same DuitNow ID with another bank?
No, DuitNow ID can only be used at one bank at a time.
What is DuitNow ID?
DuitNow ID is a unique identifier that can be used as an alternative to a person’s account numbers when making funds transfers or payments. Consumers and business owners will first need to nominate their DuitNow ID and tag them to their chosen bank account number. Where can I check my transaction status after I made the DuitNow transfer?
Login to BIMB Web. Go to My Accounts > BIMB Web Transaction History and select DuitNow Transfer.
Can I schedule a future dated and recurring transfer with DuitNow?
Yes. You can set future date and recurring for DuitNow Transfer at BIMB Web.
What is DuitNow?
DuitNow is a real-time online fund transfer service that provides consumers and business owners options to transfer money using an account number or ID called DuitNow ID. With DuitNow ID, consumers and business owners no longer need to divulge their bank account numbers, which in itself is harder to remember and not always readily available. DuitNow is an industry wide initiative led by PayNet, whose main shareholder is Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).
How can I ensure that I am transferring to my intended recipient?
The recipient’s name will be displayed during confirmation of transfer. It is important that you verify the Recipient Name prior to confirming the transaction.
What should I do if my Passport Number has changed?

You need to deregister your DuitNow ID and go to a Bank Islam Branch to update your Passport Number. Then, you can re-register your new Passport Number as your DuitNow ID at the following channels:

  1. BIMB Web
  2. Automated Teller Machine (ATM)
  3. BIMB Mobile
  4. Branches
Can I link all of my DuitNow ID to one receiving account?
Yes, you can link all your DuitNow IDs to one account.
Do I need to fill in any form to register or maintain my DuitNow ID?
You are required to complete the form provided by our Customer Service Representative at branch for registration or maintenance of DuitNow ID.
What are the types of DuitNow transfer currently available?

There are 2 types of DuitNow transfer:

  1. Transfer to DuitNow ID (Proxy)
  2. Transfer to account number
What happens if I received error message when I try to register or perform maintenance of my DuitNow ID?
If you encounter any error during registration or maintenance of DuitNow ID, please report it to Bank Islam Contact Center at 03-26 900 900.
What if the mobile number displayed via BIMB Web is not my mobile number?
Kindly go to any Bank Islam branch to update your mobile number. Once updated, please go to BIMB Web to register.
What is the maximum daily transaction limit for DuitNow?

Yes, you can save any DuitNow ID as your favourite recipient.
DuitNow QR
Are there any charges for using DuitNow QR?
There are no charges imposed to customer for using DuitNow QR.
May I know why at times I don’t have to enter the amount to be paid?
This is because the recipient has already fixed the amount to be paid. Hence, when you scan the DuitNow QR Code, you will be making a payment for the exact amount. The amount will be displayed on the screen for your confirmation.
I have received a successful notification for my payment, but the merchant claimed to not receive it. What should I do?
Please show the successful notification to the merchant for payment confirmation. Merchant also could check his/her own transaction history to find out if the payment has been made.
What are the functions available for DuitNow QR?

There are two (2) types of functions available:

SCAN & PAY

This is a merchant-presented QR Code whereby Mobile Banking users scan any DuitNow QR supported static/dynamic QR Code to perform QR payment. The source account for this is via current account and savings account.

SCAN ME

This is a Person-to-Person transfer (P2P QR) function whereby the recipient generates a QR Code and presents it to the sender/payer to scan and perform an electronic money transfer. This function is available and interoperable between the Bank Islam Mobile Banking app and other banks or eWallet apps which support DuitNow QR.

What is DuitNow QR?
DuitNow QR is Malaysia’s National Quick Response (QR) Standard which was established by PayNet under the Bank Negara Malaysia Interoperable Credit Transfer Framework (ICTF). It enables customers to make payment from any participating banks or e- wallet mobile apps.
What happens if the amount transferred for P2P QR was wrong due to either the sender or recipient?
Kindly settle the dispute with each other directly. Any settlement of discrepancies shall be between you and the sender/recipient. Both parties are allowed to make settlements based on arrangements as deemed fit, appropriate, and agreed by both parties. If there is a need for further investigation, kindly report this matter to our Contact Centre at +603 26 900 900 for calls or write into contactcenter@bankislam.com.my
How do I know if the payment was successfully made and debited from my account?
Once you have scanned a QR code and made a payment, you will receive a push notification on the successful status of payment. You will also see an acknowledgement page regarding the successful status of payment. Alternatively, you may check the transaction history for successful payments made or click on “Inbox” to check payment status.
What happens if I lose my mobile phone?
Please call our Contact Centre at +603 26 900 900 to have your BIMB Mobile temporarily suspended.
Can another person(s) leverage on my app to use DuitNow QR?
No, you should not allow anyone to use your app and DuitNow QR. The app is solely for your own usage. Best practices should be upheld at all times to safeguard your DuitNow QR from being abused by another person.
Which debiting account can I choose for DuitNow QR?
You can choose either from your current account, savings account, or transactional investment account.
What is my daily limit and how is the security in place?

No-password limit can be set up to RM250 daily. For example, if you set your no-password limit to RM50, you can scan a QR code to pay without any biometric or password up to RM50 in total.

*Maximum limit per day for P2P and Point-of-Sales (POS) Transaction:

  1. Resident: RM50,000.00
  2. Non-Resident: RM10,000.00

The default limit for P2P transaction is RM5,000.00 and is also subject to the 3rd party transfer limit set by you.

I can’t perform any transaction through DuitNow QR. What should I do?

If you’re facing issues with DuitNow QR, please try any of these methods:

  1. Restart device - Many common issues can be fixed by turning off and restarting the device.
  2. Check data connection – A strong internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) is required to use the app. Re-launch the app when the internet connection is good.
  3. Check device’s available storage – If the storage space is low, please uninstall other apps or delete items like pictures or videos to free up space. The problem could also be attributed to multiple suspended apps running in the background. Please close unused apps to free up memory and resources.
  4. Clear cache and data - Clear cache and data on the App Store or Google Play Store application and try to download the app again.
  5. Update to the latest version of the BIMB Mobile or uninstall and re-install the app.
How do I know my payment status?
After you have made the payment, the status will be displayed on the screen, and you will also receive a notification via push notification. Alternatively, you may view the transactions in your account history.
Who can use DuitNow QR?

All new and existing BIMB Mobile users with the latest version of the BIMB Mobile app (V.2.2.8 and above).

How to check your Mobile Banking app version:

  1. Launch the app.
  2. At the front page, select the Menu button; the version is indicated at the bottom.
  3. You may download the latest version from Google Play, App Store, or Huawei App Gallery.
Do I need to key in my password every time I launch and use DuitNow QR?

No. However, below are instances where a password is required:

  1. First-time setup of Scan QR
  2. Change of DuitNow QR settings including payment limit and default account.
  3. QR payment of more than RM250 per transaction or exceeding RM250 in total or if the transaction amount exceeds the no-password limit set by you.
What are the safety measures to be taken before proceeding with the DuitNow QR transaction?

You are required to ensure the following:

  1. Check the amount to be paid.
  2. Check the merchant’s details (business name) before proceeding with the DuitNow QR transaction.
What are the minimum requirements to use DuitNow QR?

The minimum requirements of using the DuitNow QR are as follows:

  1. BIMB Mobile app is downloaded on your smartphone.
  2. Your smartphone must not be jailbroken or rooted.
  3. Internet connection
  4. The operating system of the smartphone must be iOS 10 and above or Android version 5 and above.
  5. Registered for DuitNow QR
Where can I use DuitNow QR?
Look out for a DuitNow QR code standee at participating merchant outlets, and you can also use DuitNow QR at all participating local and overseas merchants displaying the "DuitNow QR" logo. Additionally, you can make payments to any person who can generate a DuitNow QR code using participating bank apps and eWallet mobile apps. Click the link for the full list of DuitNow participants
Why is my payment being rejected?

Your payment may be declined due to these reasons:

  1. Insufficient balance in your account.
  2. Poor internet connectivity.
  3. Merchant’s DuitNow QR service has been deactivated.
How does DuitNow QR differ from the existing QR payments offered by banks and e-Wallet providers?
DuitNow QR allows interoperability between all participating banks and e-wallets which means you can just use one app to scan DuitNow QR code provided by any of the participants. With that, merchants can just display one QR code to their customers.
How long will it take to process DuitNow QR?
DuitNow QR payments/transfers will be processed immediately
How do I safeguard my DuitNow QR from being abused?

You can prevent others from using your DuitNow QR by following these simple guidelines:

  1. Ensure your device is protected with biometric, PIN, or pattern.
  2. Do not save any other biometrics except your own on your mobile devices.
  3. Do not leave your device unattended.
  4. Set your DuitNow QR limit based on your comfort level.
  5. Regularly check your account activity for any discrepancies or unauthorized transactions.
What are services available for DuitNow QR?

Below are services that are available for DuitNow QR:

  1. Scan seller’s or other person’s DuitNow QR code to pay or transfer funds.
  2. Generate a QR code to receive money from another person.

More new features will be introduced soon.

What are the security features in place?
You can set your preferred daily transaction limit from RM0 to RM50,000. However, there is a cumulative limit that you can set to enable authentication for your transaction. Password or biometric is required to proceed with DuitNow QR if more than RM250 per transaction. Below the cumulative limit, no authentication required.
What if the price displayed on my screen is different from what the merchant had agreed on?
Please confirm with the merchant if the information shown is not reflected accurately. Should there be any discrepancies, request the merchant to regenerate a new code and scan again.

Can I reject a DuitNow Request?
Yes, you can reject the request.
What is the maximum number of DuitNow Request that I can send?
DuitNow Request can be sent up to a maximum of 20 pending requests at a time. For example, if you currently have 20 pending requests, you can only send another request if the earlier request have been completed.
Can I share the receipt as the proof of my DuitNow Request and its payment?
Yes, you can. After each successful DuitNow Request or payment, you can share the receipt by clicking the 'Print' button at the bottom of the acknowledgement page.
What is “Allow Partial Payment”?
Requestor can allow Payer to pay the requested amount partially by ticking ‘Allow Partial Amount’ box in the DuitNow Request, hence the Payer will be able to pay less or equal to the requested amount. The request will be considered as completed once the Payer made the payment regardless of whether the payment amount is less than or equal to the requested amount.
What is DuitNow Request?
DuitNow Request is a collection service available via Bank Islam Internet Banking which allows individuals to send a digital payment request to collect funds from a Payer.
How do I know if my DuitNow Request was successful?

Requestor
You will receive an email notification on the successful status of DuitNow Request. You will also be able to view the successful status at the acknowledgement page in Internet Banking.

Payer
If the Payer’s bank is Bank Islam, the Payer will be notified via email. For other banks, the notification will be based on the respective bank’s notification type.

I noticed that the amount is sometimes editable when I accept (i.e. make payment) a DuitNow Request. Why is that so?
This is applicable if the Requestor allows partial payment to be made by the Payer, subject to the nature of payment and the Requestor's plan.
Would I be charged for using DuitNow Request?
No. It is absolutely free.
Is there any expiry date for DuitNow Request?
Yes, there is. The DuitNow Request will expire after 7 days if the Payer does not make any payment.
How quickly does DuitNow Request transfer occurs?
DuitNow Request will be processed immediately, and Requestor will receive money in their bank account instantly upon the Payer's payment.
How can I request a payment using DuitNow Request?

Login to your Bank Islam Internet Banking and make a DuitNow Request to an account number of any banks or one of the Payer's IDs below:

  1. Mobile number
  2. NRIC number
  3. Passport number
  4. Army ID / Police ID
  5. Business registration number (only SSM-registered businesses)
Is there any limit for DuitNow Request?

Maximum limit per day:

  1. Resident: RM50,000.00
  2. Non-Resident: RM10,000.00

However, the default limit is RM5,000.00 and is subject to the 3rd party transfer limit set by the Payer. To increase the daily limit, please go to Internet Banking > Setting > Transaction Limit Maintenance.

What is the type of account that can be used to pay to Requestor?
All types of banking accounts (savings accounts, current accounts, and transactional investment accounts) can be used to pay except term deposit accounts.
Do I need to register for DuitNow Request?
No registration is required to make a DuitNow Request. However, you need to perform a one-time set up for your receiving account.

Prepaid Reload Services via ATM is a PIN-less and the reload amount will be automatically credited to your mobile. Meanwhile, the Prepaid Reload Services via BIMB Web and BIMB Mobile is a PIN-less and PIN.
What if I wrongly keyed in the mobile number or selected the wrong Telco and the transaction was successful. Can I cancel the transaction or request for refund?
No, if you have confirmed the purchase when confirmation screen is prompted, the transaction cannot be cancelled and there will be no refunds.
What is the daily transaction limit for purchase of Prepaid Reloads via ATM?
The daily transaction limit for purchase of Prepaid Reloads is up to RM250.00 per channel per day.
Is there any fee charge for Prepaid Reload Services via Bank Islam ATMs?

What is JomPAY?
JomPAY is Malaysia’s national bill payment scheme established and operated by Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet), under Bank Negara Malaysia with the participation of banks and large billers. JomPAY establishes an accessible bill payment eco-system for consumers, banks and billers, where customer of 42 banks in Malaysia can pay bills anywhere and anytime. What is Ref-1?

I have received a successful notification for my payment, but the Biller claimed they did not receive it. What should I do?
Please show the successful notification to the Biller for payment confirmation. Biller could also check its own account transaction history with Biller’s bank to find out if the payment has been made successfully.
How is JomPAY different from existing Bank Islam’s bill payment service?
At present, the number of Billers available for you to pay differs significantly across banks in Malaysia. You may not be able to make payments to a Biller if the Biller is not available in BIMB Web and BIMB Mobile channels. JomPAY creates an accessible and inclusive bill payment eco-system for consumers, banks and billers so that all JomPAY Billers are available to all customers of 42 banks in Malaysia.
How do I make payment via JomPAY?
Just look for the JomPAY logo on your bill or invoice and log in to BIMB Web and BIMb Mobile to make payment. Enter the JomPAY Biller Code and Reference Number (Ref-1) with payment made from your Current, Savings, Transactional Investment and Credit Card account.
Why does Ref-1 change in some subsequent bills/invoices?
Ref-1 could be either fixed or variable depending on the needs of Billers. In most cases, Ref-1 is fixed.
How do I know if the payment was successfully made and debited from my account?
Once you have made a payment, you will receive a push notification via BIMB Mobile app and to your registered email address on the successful status of the payment. How does JomPAY QR differ from the existing QR payments offered by banks and e-Wallet providers?
JomPAY QR includes your unique RRN (which appears as Ref-1 and Ref-2 on your bill/invoice) so you don’t have to manually key in the required details for payment. Existing QR payments offered by banks typically enable payments or transfers to merchants or individuals.

Quick Transfer is a new feature which simplifies the steps for online transactions by not requiring customers to provide an additional authentication to approve transactions below RM250.00. What are the requirements to use Tabung Haji services via BIMB Web/ BIMB Mobile/ ATM/ CRM?

To use Tabung Haji services, you:

  1. Must be 18 years and above:
    1. Must have an active Bank Islam current/savings/transactional account (Not applicable to sole proprietors).
    2. Must have a Bank Islam Debit Card-i.
    3. Must have an active individual Tabung Haji account.
  2. Must link your Bank Islam Debit Card-i to your Tabung Haji account, including the TH account of children aged below 18 years old under your custody.
  3. The maximum number of Tabung Haji accounts allowed to be linked is 8 accounts (including children accounts under your care).
What are Tabung Haji services?
Tabung Haji services are provided to facilitate Bank Islam and Tabung Haji customers to perform various transactions at their convenience via BIMB Web, BIMB Mobile and Automated Teller Machine (ATM)/ Cash Recycler Machine (CRM).

How do I register or update my mobile phone number in order to receive the OTP?
To use My Debit Secure, you do not need to register. But you have to ensure your mobile phone number is updated in banking system. You can register, change or update your mobile number at any Bank Islam branch.
Should I perform activation to enable MyDebit CNP if I’ve done before for Card-Not-Present under Visa scheme?
No, the activation is applicable for both schemes (Visa & MyDebit) Card-Not-Present services.
Do I have to register before making payments with MyDebit Secure?
No registration is needed to use MyDebit Secure. However, you must first enable the Card-Not-Present (CNP) function on your Bank Islam Debit Card-i before using it for online purchases or e-commerce payments.
How can I enable the CNP function on my Debit Card-i?

You can enable the CNP function through the following channels:

  1. BIMB Web (https://www.bankislam.biz): Go to 'Settings', select 'Debit Card-i Maintenance’, and choose ‘Card-Not-Present (CNP) / Online Purchase Activation’.
    Note: To enable CNP via Bank Islam Internet Banking, customers must download the GO apps to approve CNP activation through GO Secure.
  2. Bank Islam ATM or CRM: Select 'Bank Islam' > 'Others' > 'Debit Card-i Maintenance'.
  3. Bank Islam Branches or Bank Islam Contact Centre at 03-26 900 900.
What will happen if I exceed the maximum number of OTP attempts?
If you exceed the maximum number of allowed OTP attempts, you will be unable to proceed with your online purchase payment via MyDebit Secure. In this case, please contact the Bank Islam Contact Centre at 03-26 900 900 for assistance.

BIMB Mobile Account Setup
Can I use the application on the same mobile device for multiple User IDs?
No. One User ID for one mobile device only.
How do I sign up?

After downloading BIMB Mobile, you will need to perform registration using your existing BIMB Web User ID, password, and your Identification Card (IC) / Identification Document (ID) number in order to bind your device with your IB User ID.

For existing Bank Islam BIMB Web users:

  1. Enter your User ID and password.
  2. Enter your IC/ID number.

If you do not have a User ID, you must first register for BIMB Web through BIMB Web. For the next login, you can use your fingerprint (if your mobile device is supported by fingerprint authentication security feature) to access BIMB Mobile. Otherwise, you can login by using your existing BIMB Web password.

Note: After completing the first-time setup as a new user for BIMB Mobile, activation of your access is required before you can perform any banking transactions. Activation can be done at the Bank's ATM machines, at branches or via the Contact Center (for customers overseas or those without access to branches and ATM machines).

How do I activate BIMB Mobile after first-time setup?

You need to ensure you have downloaded and completed the first-time setup as a new user for BIMB Mobile before you can activate your online access. You can activate BIMB Web by proceeding with the following steps:

Visit any Bank Islam ATM/ CRM:

  1. Insert your debit or credit card into the ATM/ CRM.
  2. Enter your 6-digit PIN to access the main menu.
  3. Select ‘Others’.

Activation at Branch

Visit any Bank Islam branch:

  1. Fill out and submit the activation request form.
  2. The branch will process your activation request.
Can I login on BIMB Web And BIMB Mobile at the same time?
No. You can only login on one channel at a time.
Do I need to login every time I want to use the application?
Yes. You are required to login using your password to access BIMB Mobile or use your biometric to have quick access to your account summary via the application (provided that your mobile device supports this authentication security feature).

What are the requirements to create USER ID?
USER ID must consist of 6 to 10 alphanumeric characters, no special characters are allowed.
How do I perform first-time BIMB Web registration using Credit Card-i?

Please follow the following steps:

  1. Login to https://www.bankislam.biz
  2. Click FIRST TIME USER.
  3. Read on ‘Terms and Conditions of Access and Use of Website’.
  4. Tick the box below to acknowledge the T&C and click Continue.
  5. Select Bank Islam Credit Card-i and click Continue.
  6. Key in your Bank Islam Credit Card-i Number and PIN.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. Complete all the information required on the page such as User ID, Password, E-mail, and Mobile Number.
  9. Proceed to set up your Private Word and select ONE Private Image.
  10. Set up your Secret Question and provide your Secret Answer (Please make sure you remember all 3 questions and answers).
  11. Click Submit.
  12. Review the details displayed and click Confirm to complete your request.
  13. Once completed, you will be directed to the acknowledgement page that confirms the status of your request.
  14. Then, you may proceed to login to your BIMB Web.
How to sign-up for BIMB Web?

Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Login to BIMB Web
  2. Click “FIRST TIME USER".
  3. Read the Terms and Conditions.
  4. Click at ATM/Debit Card.
  5. Enter your ATM/Debit Card 16-digit number and ATM PIN.
  6. Create USER ID, Password, and other details on the screen.
  7. Confirm the information and click “Confirm”.

What happens if I cannot login using Quick Touch/ Face ID?
You can login using your password.

Quick Touch/ Face ID are forms of biometric authentication using fingerprint/ facial identity verification for speedy access to your account summary.
Can I use Quick Touch/ Face ID to perform monetary transaction in application?
No. Quick Touch/ Face ID function allows you to view your account summary only.

What should I do when I see this message appeared “Invalid User Information”?

This message appeared “You have already registered. Kindly proceed to login” when I perform BIMB Web registration. What should I do?
The system detected that you have already registered for Bank Islam BIMB Web. If you still remember your USER ID and Password, kindly proceed to Login button. If you have forgotten your password, kindly proceed to “Forgot Password” to update your password. However, you will need a valid USER ID, Bank Islam ATM/Debit Card number and ATM PIN to reset your password. (You may refer to question no. 26 for further detail) If you have forgotten your USER ID, call our Contact Center at 03 2690 0900 for further assistance.
What do I need to do if I forgot my BIMB Web User ID?
Call our Contact Center at 03 2690 0900 to delete your BIMB Web access and perform FIRST TIME USER registration. For your security, you are not allowed to register using your old BIMB Web USER ID or Password.
What do I need to do in the following situations?; a) I forgot my BIMB Web Secret Questions and Secret Answers?; b) I have entered incorrect Secret Answers three (3) times and my BIMB Web account has been locked?; c) If my BIMB Web account is locked?; d) I see the message “[E3**] We are unable to process your request” or “[E5**] We are unable to proceed with your transaction”?

What do I need to do if I forgot my BIMB Web Password?

If you have forgotten your Password, kindly proceed to Forgot Password to update your password. However, you will need an active User ID, Bank Islam Credit Card-i / Debit Card-i, and PIN to reset your password.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Login to BIMB website and click “BIMB Web Login” tab.
  2. At the User ID page, click “Forgot Password / User ID”.
  3. Enter your BIMB Web “User ID” and click “Continue” to proceed to the next page.
  4. Enter your “Credit Card-i / Debit Card-i No.” followed by your “PIN” and click “Continue” to proceed to the next page.
  5. Upon acceptance of the correct information, enter your new “Password” and “Confirm Password”, which must consist of 8 to 18 alphanumerical characters and may include special characters.
  6. Click “Submit” to proceed to the next page.
  7. Click “Confirm” to process the password reset request.
  8. Proceed to login using your USER ID and Password.
What should I do if I fail 3 times on login attempts and was locked out from my BIMB Web account?

What will happen if I enter the wrong password for 3 consecutive times?
